Rybkin Anatoly
He was born on January 10, 1949 in the village of Vurmankasy in the Mariinsko-Posadsky district of Chuvashia. He studied at the Togaev eight-year school. After graduating from school in 1964, he entered the Mariinsky-Posadskoye State Technical Technical University-11, where in 1966 he received a specialty as a carpenter and furniture maker and worked in Udmurtia at the Sarapul forestry plant until 1969.
Later he studied at the Cheboksary Art School and at the I. E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of the USSR Academy of Arts in Leningrad. In 1980, he worked as an artist for the design of the Olympic Games-80 in Moscow.
From 1988 to 1991, he worked in a creative painting workshop under the direction of the People’s Artist of Russia, Academician A. P. Levitin in the Siberian-Far Eastern Branch of the USSR Academy of Arts in Krasnoyarsk. In 1991, he returned to St. Petersburg.
In 1993 and 1995 he was invited to France, where he worked at the international artists’ workshop in Provence.
In 1985, for a series of works “Astrakhan Land” and “People of Chukotka”, he became a laureate of the Leningrad Komsomol Prize.
In 1998, the exhibition “India through the Eyes of Russian Artists” was organized in Moscow at the State Tretyakov Gallery.
His works are presented in the Directorate of Exhibitions of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists, the Directorate of Exhibitions of the Union of Artists of Russia (Moscow), the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts, the Art Salon “Russian Portrait” (St. Petersburg), in the private collections of A. Pugacheva, I.Reznik, A.Sobchak, Vice Consul of Germany, Director of Cirel in France, Vice-Mayor of Moscow, deputies of the State Duma, in private collections of France, Holland, Sweden, China, Hungary, etc.
In the artist’s homeland, in the collection of the Chuvash State Art Museum, 20 paintings are kept.
