Gerasimenko Sergey

Gerasimenko Sergey Grigoryevich was born on April 24, 1956 in the city of Nickel, Murmansk region.

He was born on April 24, 1956 in the city of Nickel, Murmansk region. Childhood was spent in Ukraine, in the Poltava region. I started drawing early.

In 1968-72 he studied at the art school of Poltava, then in 1972-76 – at the Kharkiv State Art School at the department of easel painting.

Since 1976 he has been living in Leningrad – Saint Petersburg.

In 1986 he entered the Leningrad Higher Art and Industrial School named after V. I. Mukhina. In 1991 he graduated from the school of monumental and decorative painting.

Muralist, stained glass artist, member of the Union of Artists of Russia.

The artist’s works are kept in private and museum collections in Russia, Germany, France, Austria, Yugoslavia, Poland, the USA (including the Oriental Museum, San Francisco), Canada, Japan (the Museum of Decorative and Applied Arts, Tokyo).
